Introduction
The Department of Computer Science was initiated in 2007. It offers an Undergraduate Programme - B.Sc. Computer Science Honours. In 2007, it was introduced keeping in view the utmost need to introduce a technological honours graduation program. Currently it is located in the 1st floor left-hand corner in the administrative building. Currently, the teaching faculty comprises 3 Assistant Professors and 3 State Aided College Teachers. The Department has a rich variety of teaching-learning resources comprising seminar library, computer laboratories ( both hardware and software) , projector screen which is used to conduct both theory and practical classes.
The Course curriculum was (I+I+I) system oriented in the beginning. The Curriculum had switched to CBCS structure from the Academic Year 2017-18. From the Academic Year 2023-24 onwards the CCFUP (based on NEP) curriculum has been initiated.
