Chandernagore College a premiere educational institution has a clearly identified vision and mission. Teaching – learning is at the core of this institutional ethos and a student-centric approach is a vital part of this educational institution. Chandernagore College has always believed in progression through proper governance, leadership and management forthe holistic development of its students.
VISION
The vision of Chandernagore College is to provide transformative education to students so that they become well-equipped to meet global challenges, respect human rights, practice non-violence, become environmentally conscious and are sensitized to community service. We at Chandernagore College aim to impart education by which students’ mind achieve a broader perspective to become honest and responsible citizens of the country.
MISSION
The mission of the College is to nurture the minds of its students offering them adequate opportunities so that they develop into empowered individuals capable of being just, humane and visionary citizens. We mentor our students so that they develop as person of competence and compassion, equipped to face the challenges of life and be the pillars of strength for their communities.
OUR OBJECTIVES
  • To provide an inclusive educational platform and enhance the strength and capabilities of the students coming from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. In pursuit of an inclusive developmental mode, we teach our students to appreciate, respect and promote the perspectives, rights and dignity of each individual.
  • To build an empowered young generation who can act as essential components in the process of cultural, socio-economic and sustainable environmental development.
  • To provide a safe and encouraging environment, to enable our students realize their own potential and self-worth while helping others to do so as well.
  • To promote teamwork and collaborative learning among the students of the College and nurture a community of learners motivated by a quest for academic excellence.
  • To prepare students to be responsible, questioning citizens and to contribute not only to the College community but also in the larger society.
